Baseball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Fowlerville Gladiators, falling 14-2. The Quakers were not able to make up for their loss to the Gladiators from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Eastern saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wylie Scott, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI.

Eastern's record now sits at 2-20. As for Fowlerville, their win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-15.

While Eastern had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
