            Baseball Recap: Bryant Owls vs. Stevenson Ambassadors        
        
		
        
        
            The Bryant Owls earned  an  8-4 victory over the Stevenson Ambassadors  on Tuesday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Owls.
 Christian Cepin was a  major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double. He has become a key player for Bryant: the team is 7-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 0-5 otherwise.

 In other batting news,  Joseph Garcia was  incredible,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run and four  RBI. Those  four  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Chris Capelo was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.
Bryant now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Stevenson,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 7-8.
 Looking ahead, Bryant will head out on the road to  square off against  McKee Vo-Tech  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Seagulls will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something the Owls surely won't give up without a fight. Stevenson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
