 After two games on the road, Richwood is heading back home. They will take on the Paden City Wildcats at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Richwood will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last.
 Richwood scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Monday. Everything went their way against Webster County as Richwood made off with  a  20-4 victory. With that  win, Richwood brought their scoring average up to 7.3  runs per game.
  Trae Trivolette was a major factor no matter where he played. He  struck out 16 batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits (and only one walk). Trivolette was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in four of his six plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Dakota Sizemore and  Jaden Jantuah did most of the damage at the plate:  Sizemore  scored six  runs and  stole four bases while going 5-for-5, while  Jantuah  got on base  in five of his six plate appearances with three  stolen bases, five  RBI,  and three  runs. Sizemore has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Jayden Hamon, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Paden City was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell  7-2 to Trinity Christian.
 Richwood's victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-4. As for Paden City, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Richwood suffered a grim  10-1 defeat to Paden City  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023. Can Richwood avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
