Charles J. Colgan waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 55-36 victory over the Gar-Field Red Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-15 back in December of 2024.

Charles J. Colgan was led to victory by Aaliyah Thrash and Audrey Williams. Thrash went 7 for 16 en route to 18 points in addition to five assists and three steals, while Williams posted ten points along with six boards and five steals. Williams has become a key player for Charles J. Colgan: the team is 6-3 when she posts at least five steals, but 2-3 otherwise. Milana Zeraye was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Charles J. Colgan was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gar-Field only posted four assists.

When it comes to explaining why Gar-Field lost, don't look at Icys Carroll. Despite the final result, she put up 26 points and eight boards. That was a full 72.2% of Gar-Field's points, marking the 17th time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Rachael Grant, who scored nine points.

Charles J. Colgan is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.9 points per game. As for Gar-Field, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Charles J. Colgan has already played their next game, a 50-38 loss against Freedom on the 29th. As for Gar-Field, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-24 defeat against Brooke Point on the 30th.
