Basketball Recap: Diana Gidey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead the Noble Academy over Comer

The Noble Academy lost against Comer back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The matchup between The Noble Academy Griffins and the Comer Catamounts didn't end well, with The Noble Academy Griffins falling 42-27.

The Noble Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Diana Gidey, who posted 12 points. Ashley Harding was another key player, putting up nine points.

The Noble Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Comer, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

The Noble Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 46-24 defeat against Pritzker on the 27th. As for Comer, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bulls College Prep at 5:30 p.m. Comer's defense has only allowed 28.7 points per game this season, so Bulls College Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them.
