Basketball Recap: Dallas International Comes Up Short

Dallas International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 64-15 loss at the hands of the Yavneh Academy Bulldogs. Dallas International was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-0.

Yavneh Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brendy Eber led the charge by going 5 for 10 en route to 10 points along with six boards and five steals. Eber has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jake Yalovsky, who posted seven points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Dallas International's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Yavneh Academy, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Dallas International will square off against Lakehill Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th. Yavneh Academy has already played their next contest (against Highlands), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
