Basketball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta lost against Blair-Taylor back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Augusta Beavers took a blow against the Blair-Taylor Wildcats, falling 78-35. That's two games in a row now that the Beavers have lost by exactly 43 points.

Augusta's defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Blair-Taylor, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

When Augusta and Blair-Taylor next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Augusta will try to stop Whitehall's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Blair-Taylor will square off against Independence/Gilmanton and their three-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
