The Spring Valley Grizzlies had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took their matchup at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 66-38 win over Las Vegas. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Spring Valley has posted since November 29, 2023.
Mia Ervin continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Melanie Ortiz, who scored six points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Spring Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Las Vegas, they bumped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
