Soccer Game Preview: Westchester vs. University

Westchester is 0-8-2 against University since November of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Westchester Comets will host the University Wildcats at 3:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Westchester is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game on Monday. They lost 5-0 to Palisades. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1190th, while the Dolphins are ranked 67th).

Meanwhile, University has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 15. They and Hamilton finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

University's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-6. As for Westchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
