After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Marcos, Santa Barbara was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pacifica Tritons. The Dons haven't had any issues with the Tritons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Santa Barbara never let Pacifica on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-23, 25-14.

Lola Heckman paced Santa Barbara's offense, picking up seven kills. Heckman got some help from Jules Horton and her 21 assists. Peyton Herlihy controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Santa Barbara now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Pacifica, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
