Basketball Recap: Frontier Takes a Loss

Frontier and Strasburg-Franklin squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Frontier had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Strasburg-Franklin Tigers and fell 66-27. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 350th, while the Tigers are ranked 89th).

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Strasburg-Franklin, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-1.

Frontier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Strasburg-Franklin, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hiland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hiland is on a four-game streak of home wins, Strasburg-Franklin a ten-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
