Preview: Sunray Bobcats vs. Booker Kiowas
The Sunray Bobcats will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Booker Kiowas at 6:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Two weeks ago, Sunray was the victim of a rough 70-47 loss at the hands of Sanford-Fritch.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought contest, but Booker had to settle for a 45-43 defeat against West Texas on Tuesday.
Booker might have lost, but man, Hagen Chisum was a machine: he dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. That was a full 55.8% of Booker's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Rosales, who scored five points along with four steals.
Sunray's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Booker, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.
Sunray was able to grind out a solid victory over Booker when the teams last played back in January, winning 56-44. Will Sunray repeat their success, or does Booker have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
