Soccer Recap: Hillgrove Falls Short Against Ranked Harrison

Hillgrove faced Harrison in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hawks lost 4-1 to the Hoyas. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Hillgrove couldn't push the score so high this time.

With the loss, Hillgrove broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-3. As for Harrison, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.

Hillgrove and Harrison will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Hawks see the pitch they'll take on Sequoyah at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Harrison, their break will end when they face Starr's Mill at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th.
