Mabton is 7-1 against River View since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Mabton Vikings will be playing at home against the River View Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Mabton knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully River View likes a good challenge.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask River View). They put the hurt on Granger with a sharp 48-27 victory on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted since December 13, 2024.

Mabton pushed their record up to 16-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42 points. As for River View, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.

Everything came up roses for Mabton against River View in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as the squad secured a 59-13 victory. Does Mabton have another victory up their sleeve, or will River View turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
