Soccer Recap: Castro Valley Takes a Loss

Castro Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the San Leandro Pirates. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Castro Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for San Leandro, the win got them back to even at 5-5-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Castro Valley will host Alameda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alameda is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. San Leandro has already played their next match (against San Lorenzo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
