It was a good run, but North Adams unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 44-35 to the Batavia Bulldogs. The Green Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

North Adams' defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5. As for Batavia, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

North Adams won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eastern has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Batavia, they will head out on the road to challenge New Richmond at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Batavia is facing New Richmond at the right time seeing as New Richmond is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
