Chancellor is 8-2 against Courtland since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Chancellor Chargers will head out to square off against the Courtland Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chancellor is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering James Monroe just ended the team's ten-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 65-28 loss at the hands of the Yellow Jackets. The matchup marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Courtland managed to keep up with Culpeper County until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Courtland lost 74-53 to Culpeper County. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Chancellor's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-4. As for Courtland, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Chancellor was able to grind out a solid victory over Courtland in their previous matchup on Thursday, winning 47-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chancellor since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
