Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mullen walked away with it. They came out on top against the Windsor Wizards by a score of 53-43 on Friday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Wizards recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Mullen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Makenzie Jones led the charge by shooting 44% from the field to rack up 15 points and eight boards. Tatum Jones was another key player, going 5-for-8 on her way to 12 points and seven rebounds.

Mullen smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. They are a perfect 9-0 when they hit their own glass that hard.

When it comes to explaining why Windsor lost, don't look at Reyleigh Hess. Despite the final result, she posted 14 points and eight boards. Hess has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Gracie Worlsey, who put up 12 points and seven rebounds.

Mullen's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Windsor, with the defeat, they broke their 16-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-5.

Mullen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-30 victory against Mead on the 13th. Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
