There's no place like home for Lecanto, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the River Ridge Royal Knights 3-2. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 6-2 win the Royal Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Lecanto's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Xayvier Fitzpatrick, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

The win got Lecanto back to even at 1-1. As for River Ridge, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lecanto will welcome Weeki Wachee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for River Ridge, they will take on Lecanto at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
