Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Austin Takes a Loss

Fort Bend Austin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Klein Collins Tigers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2016.

Fort Bend Austin's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Klein Collins, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, Fort Bend Austin will be playing in front of their home fans against Tomball Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Klein Collins, they have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Memorial on the 15th.
