With a playoff win on the line, Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Marquette Crusaders with a sharp 28-6 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Reece Milligan threw for 128 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 passes. Jack Willoby was his top target, picking up 73 receiving yards and one score.

Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley's record now sits at 8-2. As for Marquette, they moved to 6-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
