Volleyball Recap: Declo Comes Up Short

Declo lost against West Side on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets came up short against the Pirates, falling 3-0. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: West Side scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.

Declo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-11. As for West Side, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Declo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Side, they will square off against Malad at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
