Softball Recap: Lincoln Golden Bears vs. Jacksonville Golden Eagles
After flying high against Ohatchee last Thursday, Lincoln came back down to earth. The Lincoln Golden Bears took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jacksonville Golden Eagles on Monday. The Golden Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Golden Eagles earlier this season, when they won 4-2.
Paisley LaClair stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 1-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Pruitt, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

LaClair wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Lincoln kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.
