Volleyball Recap: New Britain Comes Up Short + How To Watch

New Britain managed to slip by Maloney the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Golden Hurricanes lost 3-0 to the Spartans on Friday. The Golden Hurricanes' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-6, 25-16, 25-12.

Saniyah Demus paced New Britain's offense, picking up eight kills. Demus got some help from Avery Ostralt and her nine assists.

New Britain's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Maloney, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, New Britain will welcome Rocky Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maloney, they will venture away from home to challenge Sheehan at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
