Football Game Preview: Holt Rams vs. Everett Vikings + How To Watch

Holt is 7-2 against Everett since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams are taking a road trip to square off against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. Everett took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Holt, who comes in off a win.

Holt will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any points last Friday, then bounced right back against Waverly on Friday. The Rams blew past the Warriors 42-7. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Warriors are ranked 361st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holt can attribute much of their success to Ladon Hatcher, who gained 141 total yards, and Manollo Williams, who gained 162 total yards. Hatcher also rushed for 124 rushing yards, which is notable because the Rams are undefeated when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 24-6 bruising from East Lansing.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Holt, they now also have a winning record of 4-3.

Holt couldn't quite get it done against Everett in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 29-20. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
