Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kent Denver). They claimed a resounding 71-20 victory over the Stargate School Eagles. With the Sun Devils ahead 45-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Kent Denver was led to victory by Kaylah Miller and Austin Duncan. Miller went 6 of 15 en route to 16 points and seven rebounds, while Duncan dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards. That's the most points Miller has posted since back in January of 2024. Channing Tierney was another key player, putting up seven points along with seven rebounds and five steals.

Kent Denver smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stargate School only pulled down seven offensive rebounds.

Kent Denver pushed their record up to 7-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Stargate School, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Kent Denver has already played their next contest (against Colorado Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Stargate School will venture away from home to take on Denver Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Denver Christian will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Stargate School surely won't give up without a fight.
