Softball Recap: Billingsley Takes a Loss

Billingsley lost against Thorsby back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Billingsley Bears took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thorsby Rebels. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Claire Seamon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylin Tomlin, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Billingsley now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Thorsby, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1-1.

Looking ahead, Billingsley will face off against Jemison at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Thorsby, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Isabella on the 13th.
