Basketball Recap: Arkansas City Bulldogs vs. Eisenhower Tigers
Arkansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 52-39 to the Eisenhower Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-28 on February 4th.
Pierce Blue was his usual excellent self, going 8-for-17 to rack up 27 points and eight boards for Eisenhower. That makes it five consecutive games in which Blue has scored at least a third of Eisenhower's points. Another player making a difference was Romari Howard, who posted 11 points and five rebounds.
Arkansas City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17-1. As for Eisenhower, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-14.
As of now, neither Arkansas City nor Eisenhower have any future games scheduled.
