Basketball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Union can now relate to. They came up short against the Jefferson City Jays on Wednesday, falling 73-53. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Jefferson City, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-7.

Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson City, they will face off against Helias at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Helias likes a good challenge.
