All Saints' Academy had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 3-5 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Auburndale Bloodhounds. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Aniyah Sanchez was a one-woman wrecking crew as she had 33 digs and three aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 23 times she's played. Valeria Castro also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good server: All Saints' Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive matches.

As for Auburndale, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2. They have struggled against All Saints' Academy recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Auburndale's loss came despite strong showings from Jocelis Suero and Yanelis Colon. Suero had 18 digs, while Colon had 13 digs, seven kills, three aces, and one block.
