Preview: Pingree Highlanders vs. Lexington Christian Academy Lions
The Pingree Highlanders will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Lexington Christian Academy Lions at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Pingree pushed their score all the way to 61 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Brooks 65-61.
Meanwhile, Lexington Christian Academy had to suffer through a rough 77-44 loss at the hands of the Mariners. While losing is never fun, Lexington Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 90th in Massachusetts, while the Mariners are ranked 15th in Rhode Island).
Pingree's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lexington Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
Pingree took their win against the Lions when the teams last played back in February of 2018 by a conclusive 62-39. Does Pingree have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
