Baseball Recap: Dupo Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Dupo and Red Bud had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers came up short against the Musketeers on Tuesday, falling 16-2. The matchup marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Dupo's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Red Bud, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dupo will square off against Okawville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Red Bud, they will face off against Steeleville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Musketeers 3.6, the Warriors 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
