Volleyball Game Preview: West Brook Bruins vs. Nederland Bulldogs

The West Brook Bruins will venture away from home to square off against the Nederland Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, West Brook didn't have quite enough to beat Port Neches-Groves and fell 3-2. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

West Brook took Port Neches-Groves into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 23-25, 21-25, 15-12.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Nederland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Lee 3-0 on Friday.

Nederland's victory bumped their record up to 17-18. As for West Brook, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-11.

West Brook beat Nederland 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
