South Oldham's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Trimble County Raiders get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Kaylee Fitzner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Fitzner was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Grace Turner, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Mya Pasley, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

South Oldham's record is now 8-10. As for Trimble County, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Oldham will square off against Simon Kenton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Dragons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Trimble County, they will take on Gallatin County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
