Northeast is still winless after their game against Everglades on Thursday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 24-22 heartbreaker at the hands of the Everglades Gators. One positive for the Hurricanes, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Everglades, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Northeast will challenge Plantation at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Everglades, they will take on McArthur at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Everglades is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.5 runs per game this season.
