Valley Christian had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 38-point drubbing they dealt Thatcher on Friday. The Valley Christian Trojans claimed a resounding 65-27 victory over the Thatcher Eagles. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Valley Christian has also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Thatcher, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-13.

Valley Christian and Thatcher could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings.
