It was a good run, but Sandy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Catholic Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Sandy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Central Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sandy is set to face off against their familiar foe David Douglas at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Central Catholic will square off against rival Nelson at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
