Basketball Recap: Elizabeth Picks Up 15th Straight Win at Home

Elizabeth put another one in the bag on Sunday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 65-45 margin over the Paramus Catholic Paladins.

Elizabeth got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Torres out in front who went 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points and eight rebounds. Torres is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Jayden Johnson was another key player, going 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points.

Elizabeth's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Paramus Catholic, they moved to 3-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Elizabeth will take on Gilman in a tournament on Saturday. As for Paramus Catholic, they will welcome Gill St. Bernard's at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
