Basketball Recap: NFL Yet Academy Comes Up Short

NFL Yet Academy came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They had to suffer through a 55-21 loss at the hands of the Arizona Lutheran Academy Coyotes. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Arizona Lutheran Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Owen Beilke led the charge by going 10 of 14 to rack up 23 points. The contest was Beilke's third in a row with at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was Cash Hill, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

NFL Yet Academy dropped their record down to 6-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Arizona Lutheran Academy, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-7.
