South Eugene had won three straight at home, but on Friday they bumped up to 12-10 to make it four. They managed a 76-71 win over the North Medford Black Tornado. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-58 back in January.

As for North Medford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points over those games.

North Medford lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Bryan Nunez, who went 8-for-14 to rack up 19 points. Za-Khyem Tuivanu-Robinson was another key player, putting up six points in addition to 11 assists and six rebounds.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Eugene is set to take on their familiar foe Sheldon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Medford will square off against rival Grants Pass at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
