After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rolesville, Knightdale was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 51-30 margin over the Heritage Huskies. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Knightdale got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ayomide Adewumi out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Adewumi now owns an excellent 45.2% field goal percentage. Another player making a difference was Leia Rios, who went 6 for 12 to rack up 17 points and five boards.

Knightdale's record now sits at 16-5. As for Heritage, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Knightdale and Heritage could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. Knightdale will challenge Wakefield at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday down 83 places (96 vs. 13). Meanwhile, Heritage (ranked 213th) will meet Rolesville (ranked 34th) at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
