Basketball Recap: East Haven Comes Up Short

East Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 67-26 loss at the hands of the Amity Regional Spartans. The Yellowjackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-8.

East Haven's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Amity Regional, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

It'll be a Battle of the Bugs the East Haven Yellowjackets face off against the Branford Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Amity Regional, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bassick at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
