Soccer Recap: Union County Takes a Loss

Union County lost against Greer Middle College on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Blazers, falling 7-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Union County were already down 5-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Robert Martinez, who's now up to 12 this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Union County and nudges their season record down to 3-9. As for Greer Middle College, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-3-1.

Union County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 7-2 loss against Woodruff on the 28th. As for Greer Middle College, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-0 victory against Mountain View Prep on the 28th.
