East barely beat West the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Aces' defense stepped up to hand the Pioneers a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering East have won five matches by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

East is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those eight contests. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. East will venture away from home to take on Eisenhower on Thursday. As for West, they will head out to challenge Garden City on Tuesday.
