Volleyball Recap: Chattahoochee Comes Up Short

Chattahoochee had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 12-23 to make it four. They lost 3-0 to the East Forsyth Broncos. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Broncos when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Elise Martinez paced Chattahoochee's offense, picking up 12 kills. Martinez got some help from Isabella Podesta and her 11 assists. Charlotte Laskos controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

As for East Forsyth, their victory bumped their record up to 20-9. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

Dallas Bagwell was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and three aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Chattahoochee has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Johns Creek on the 7th. As for East Forsyth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Madison County on the 7th.
