It was a good run, but Babcock unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to the DeSoto County Bulldogs. The match marked the Trailblazers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Emmie Barritt was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and one double. That double marked the first that she hit this season.

Babcock's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for DeSoto County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Babcock will face off against Sarasota Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for DeSoto County, they will challenge Braden River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
