Basketball Recap: Marshfield Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

North Bend typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Marshfield proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the North Bend Bulldogs with a 46-40 victory. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Bulldogs on January 10th, they had to take a 51-47 loss.

Marshfield has also been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for North Bend, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshfield will face off against Cottage Grove at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Cottage Grove has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with four straight defeats, while Marshfield will come in with four straight wins.
