Basketball Recap: Rector Takes a Loss

If Rector was feeling good fresh off their 70-39 takedown of Piggott on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars took a 63-46 bruising from the Bay Yellowjackets on Friday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 62-54.

Rector's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Bay, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Rector has already played their next matchup (against Buffalo Island Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Bay, they will face off against Cross County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
