Volleyball Recap: A.L. Brown's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact A.L. Brown can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Ardrey Kell Knights on Friday.

A.L. Brown was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-3, 25-19.

Ein Austin paced A.L. Brown's offense, picking up eight kills. Austin got some help from Vinny Nguyen and his 22 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Luke Branscom, who had 14 digs and two assists. He has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last six times he's played.

A.L. Brown's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5. As for Ardrey Kell, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

As of now, neither A.L. Brown nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
