Volleyball Recap: Wolcott College Prep Comes Up Short

Wolcott College Prep lost against Beacon Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolves fell 2-0 to the Trailblazers. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wolcott College Prep was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22.

Wolcott College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Beacon Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wolcott College Prep will take on rival Christian Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Beacon Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Lycee Francais de Chicago at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
